Olympus FL-900R IR Filter w/o Sales Packaging | An infrared filter accessory for the FL-900R

When an infrared filter is needed in a setup built around the Olympus FL-900R, this is the accessory named for that job. The Olympus FL-900R IR Filter is a filter accessory, rather than a general-purpose camera filter, and its name identifies both its infrared designation and its association with the FL-900R. It suits photographers working with that flash who specifically need an IR filter as part of their setup. The product is supplied without sales packaging, which is worth knowing if you’re matching it to an existing kit or keeping packaging together for storage. Its appeal is its specific purpose: it’s a named accessory for infrared-filter use with the FL-900R, not a broad filter option to buy for unrelated tasks. If that’s the part you’re after, the title gives you a clear match to look for.

Specialist Note

For an infrared-filter setup centred on the FL-900R, this is the filter accessory named for that flash—not a general lens filter to adapt for the job. The “IR” designation points you towards infrared-filter work, while the FL-900R in the name keeps the intended pairing clear. I’d consider it for a flash setup where that specific filter is required, and keep it with the FL-900R so the purpose is easy to identify later. One practical point: it comes without sales packaging, so it’s a straightforward accessory rather than a boxed presentation item. If you need an all-purpose filter, this isn’t what the name describes; its value is in that specific IR and FL-900R pairing.
