Olympus PSUR-03 StepUp Ring F U-Water Conv Lens (52-67mm)
Olympus PSUR-03 StepUp Ring F U-Water Conv Lens (52-67mm) | Bridges the filter-size gap
The defining choice is a step from a 52mm connection to a 67mm one: this ring bridges those different sizes without adding another lens element. It’s made for photographers using the Olympus F U-Water conversion lens who need that size change in their setup. As a filter accessory, its job is practical rather than optical: it gives you a way to join components with the matching diameters, instead of trying to use mismatched fittings. That can make assembling a conversion-lens and filter setup more straightforward, particularly when you want to keep the parts you already use. The PSUR-03 is a specific adapter for this size transition, not a general-purpose solution for every lens or underwater arrangement. If your equipment uses the stated sizes, it’s a simple piece of kit to consider; the key is that both sides of your setup need to match its step.
Specialist Note
Setup is straightforward once you’ve matched the two sides: the ring bridges a 52mm connection to a 67mm one, so you can get the Olympus F U-Water conversion-lens arrangement together without hunting for a same-size fitting. I’d consider it for a filter-accessory setup where that exact diameter change is what’s missing; it’s also useful when adapting the connection for the named conversion lens. The important point is that a step-up ring changes the fitting size, not the image itself, so it won’t give you a different field of view or replace the converter. It suits Olympus users who already have the matching parts and want a direct, purpose-specific link between them.
