Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 36INCHES 15m

Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 36INCHES 15m | A wide roll for considered print planning

The defining decision here is the 36-inch roll width: it gives you a broad paper format, with 15 metres of length to plan around. Permajet names this paper Baryta Rag and specifies a weight of 310gsm. Those details make it suited to photographers and printmakers who are looking specifically for this paper name, weight and roll size, rather than choosing by an assumed surface or finish. The useful thing is how clear the format is from the title. You can judge the width and length against the prints you intend to make, and the weight is stated plainly. If those are the details you’re shopping for, this is a focused option. I’d treat the dimensions as the first decision, then consider whether the roll format fits the way you work.

A 36-inch-wide roll is a substantial format to plan for. Think about the print dimensions you need and how you’ll use the full 15 metres; those measurements are the practical starting point for deciding if this paper belongs in your workflow. The title also gives you the paper’s named type, Baryta Rag, and its weight. That’s enough to make a specific product comparison without assuming anything about the paper’s surface or how it will look in a finished print.

For a straightforward choice, compare the stated width, length and weight with the requirements of your intended job. If you’re selecting on those exact details, the product name gives you a clear reference point. Keep the measurements to hand when planning a run; the width and roll length matter as much as the paper name when you’re working out quantities.
