Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 60INCHES 15m

Permajet Baryta Rag 310GSM 60INCHES 15m | Room for wide-format prints

Wide prints are easier to plan when the paper comes in a long, broad roll. Permajet Baryta Rag is photo paper for photographers and printmakers working with larger images or a run of prints, rather than just a few small sheets. The title specifies a weight of 310gsm, a width of 60 inches and a length of 15m, giving you substantial paper to work with. Its Baryta Rag name identifies the paper range; the key practical detail here is the roll format and its dimensions. It suits a print workflow where you want to choose the length of each image as you go. That flexibility can be helpful for panoramas, oversized photographs or several prints planned from one roll. The honest consideration is space: a roll this wide needs a printer and working area suited to wide-format paper.

Before starting a print run, think through the finished dimensions of your images and how you’ll use the available width. A 60-inch roll gives room to plan wide output, while the 15m length can be divided into individual print lengths to suit your work. Allow for your own trimming and layout decisions when estimating how many prints you’ll get; that depends on the size and arrangement of each image. The 310gsm figure is useful when comparing paper by stated weight, but it doesn’t tell you how a particular image will look. For a final choice, judge the paper by the look you want in your print and your own printing process.

This is a straightforward option to consider when your work calls for a wide roll of Baryta Rag paper, rather than a pack of sheets. It gives you the dimensions up front, so you can plan a project around the paper available. For photographers making large prints, that’s the point: one roll, a clear width and length, and room to decide the cut for each image. Keep the paper dimensions in mind as you plan your output, especially if you’re preparing a set with different print lengths.
