Permajet FB Distinction 360G Roll 44INCHES 12m

Permajet FB Distinction 360G Roll 44INCHES 12m | A wide roll for photo printing

It’s frustrating to plan a wide photo print around paper sold only as individual sheets. This Permajet FB Distinction roll gives you photo paper in a 44-inch width, with 12 metres on the roll, for print jobs that need more room to run across the page. The product name identifies it as 360G, and the roll format makes it relevant to photographers and print studios working with wide-format output. It’s a specific option for prints where sheet size would get in the way of the intended layout. If that’s the kind of work you’re doing, the useful point is straightforward: you can plan around a broad roll of paper rather than a stack of fixed-size sheets. The honest caveat is that a roll is most useful when your printer workflow and print sizes are set up to handle roll paper.

Planning prints from a roll

Roll paper suits a workflow where you decide the print dimensions for each job, rather than starting with a standard sheet size. That can make planning wide images, panoramas or other long layouts more direct, provided your printer accepts roll paper. Think through the finished print size before you start: borders and trimming affect how much of the paper each image uses. You’ll also want a practical way to handle the paper as you work, especially if you’re preparing several prints in one session. For occasional small prints, a roll may involve more measuring and cutting than you need. For a run of wide images, it gives you a single roll to work from and room to plan each print to suit the job.
