Permajet Gloss Instant DRY 271 Roll 44INCHES 30m 3CORE

Permajet Gloss Instant DRY 271 Roll 44INCHES 30m 3CORE | Glossy paper for wide-format printing

Permajet Gloss Instant DRY 271 Roll is a 44-inch-wide photo-paper roll, 30m long, for photographers and print studios working with large-format output. Its glossy finish gives you a reflective surface, while “Instant DRY” is part of the product name. If you plan prints around roll media rather than individual sheets, this format is the key detail to weigh up. The title also identifies a 3-core and the 271 designation; those are useful details to match against the requirements of your print workflow. I’d start by thinking about the look you want: gloss is a deliberate finish, so it makes sense when that surface suits the image and presentation. Then consider the scale of the work and whether roll stock fits how you print. This is a specific format of photo paper, not a general-purpose sheet pack, so it’s worth choosing for a job where the roll format and glossy finish are what you’re after.

Choosing it for your workflow

Roll paper can be a practical way to plan output when your work is organised around larger prints. The 44-inch width gives you a clear starting point for judging the format, while the 30m roll length tells you how much media is supplied. Those dimensions are more useful than guessing from a product photo; consider the print sizes you regularly make and how you handle roll stock in your workspace.

Gloss is the other main choice here. It has a recognisable sheen, so it’s best selected for images where that finish suits the intended presentation. If you’re comparing photo papers, think about the surface first, then the roll dimensions and core designation. That keeps the decision grounded in the details that define this particular product. I wouldn’t choose it just because the roll is wide: the finish and your working format matter just as much.
