Permajet Matt Proofing 160 A3+ 75SH

Permajet Matt Proofing 160 A3+ 75SH | Matte sheets for print proofs

Make a matte proof print you can review on paper before settling on a finished image. Permajet Matt Proofing 160 A3+ 75SH is photo paper for that stage of a print workflow, supplied in A3+ format as a pack of 75 sheets. The product name is refreshingly direct: this is proofing paper with a matt finish, rather than a glossy option. It suits photographers and print users who want to assess a physical print instead of relying on a screen alone. Use a proof to consider the image as a print and decide what you want to adjust before moving on. The A3+ format gives you a substantial sheet for that review, while the pack gives you more than one opportunity to make a proof. If a matte surface is what you’re after for proofing, this paper is clearly named for the job.

Using paper for proofs

A proof is a working print: a way to see an image on paper and judge it before treating the print as finished. That can make the review more concrete. You can hold the sheet, look at the image away from your monitor, and decide whether it’s ready or needs another pass. This paper’s name identifies both its proofing purpose and its matte finish, so there’s little guesswork about the kind of stock you’re choosing. It’s a straightforward option for a print workflow where you want to make physical proofs on matte photo paper. The honest point is that paper alone won’t make decisions about an image for you; it gives you a print to look at while you make them.
