Permajet Titanium Gloss Metallic 17inch Roll - 30MTR

Permajet Titanium Gloss Metallic 17inch Roll - 30MTR | A metallic gloss finish in roll format

Loose sheets call for a different kind of print planning; this Permajet paper comes as a roll. It’s a specialist photo paper with a Titanium Gloss Metallic finish, for photographers and printmakers who want that finish to be part of the image’s presentation. The name gives a clear steer: this is for prints where a glossy, metallic look is the point, rather than a neutral paper surface. The roll format may also suit a workflow built around printing from a roll, though the exact printer fit depends on your equipment. It’s a considered pick for display prints or personal projects where the surface matters as much as the image. One honest point: a striking paper finish won’t suit every photograph, so it’s worth choosing for images that benefit from that look.

The 17-inch width and 30-metre roll give you concrete format details to weigh against your project and printing setup. If you’re planning a run of prints, the roll length gives you a substantial supply in one format; if you’re making a single print, it’s still useful to know the material comes on a roll rather than as individual sheets. I’d start by thinking about the image and the intended presentation, then decide whether a metallic gloss surface is the right match. This description is deliberately specific to the product name: it doesn’t assume a particular printer, paper weight or colour performance. Permajet’s title identifies the paper as Titanium Gloss Metallic, and that’s the defining reason to consider it. For anyone comparing photo papers, the key decision here is simple: do you want this metallic gloss character, and does a 17-inch roll suit the job?
