Specialist Note "The Praktica LTL3 (S/N: 472911) represents the 'sweet spot' of the Dresden-made SLRs. While it retains the indestructible all-metal mechanical shutter of its predecessors, the addition of the TTL meter makes it much more practical for fast-paced street photography or changing light conditions. The shutter has a very distinct, mechanical 'clack' that is incredibly satisfying to hear. Unlike many cameras from the 1970s that used cloth shutters, the LTL3’s metal blades are almost immune to pinholes or degradation. It is a workhorse camera that feels significant in the hand and delivers results that punch well above its weight class."
