Radius Mini-Alto Thin 3-PIN XLR Cable Long 400mm

Radius Mini-Alto Thin 3-PIN XLR Cable Long 400mm | A short link for close connections

Your setup can stay uncluttered, without a long cable trailing between nearby pieces of equipment. The Radius Mini-Alto Thin 3-PIN XLR Cable is 400mm long, making it suited to a short connection between equipment with matching 3-pin XLR sockets. It’s a practical option for camera operators and audio technicians building a compact setup, or anyone who wants to avoid managing extra cable on a close connection. The product name identifies this as the Mini-Alto Thin version; the straightforward point for planning is its defined length. That makes it easiest to choose when the two connection points sit near each other. There is a trade-off: a short cable gives you less room to route around a setup, so it won’t suit every layout. For a close, direct run, though, the length is simple to plan around.

Planning the cable route

When working out if this cable suits your setup, consider the path it needs to follow, not only the distance between the connection points. A route around a handle or other part of your rig takes more cable than a direct line between sockets. Think about how you’ll position and handle the equipment, too: a cable pulled tight can get in the way when you adjust your setup. If you’ve mapped the route and it’s close, this short lead may suit. If the cable needs to travel farther, or take a less direct path, look for a longer option. It’s a simple check that can save you from choosing a length that doesn’t fit the way you work.
