Rycote Overcovers Adv Grey (Master Carton Of 10 X Packs)
Rycote Overcovers Adv Grey (Master Carton Of 10 X Packs) | Grey microphone covers in a multi-pack carton
Before a dialogue recording, it helps to have the right microphone accessories ready for the wardrobe and setup. Rycote Overcovers Adv Grey is a grey microphone accessory for situations where a covering that blends with grey clothing is a practical fit. The title identifies both the Adv Grey version and a master carton containing 10 packs, making this a useful format to consider when you’re stocking up for regular recording work or supplying a team. It’s aimed at sound recordists and production crews who want this specific grey option available during microphone preparation, rather than a single pack for occasional use. The colour gives you a straightforward cue when choosing among wardrobe-matching accessories: reach for grey when it’s the closer visual match. The carton format is the other clear advantage here. It gives a department multiple packs to keep with its microphone supplies, ready to allocate as needed.
Specialist Note
A grey wardrobe can make choosing a microphone covering less straightforward if the option you have to hand doesn’t suit the clothing. With this Rycote version, the grey finish gives you a more considered match for grey garments; I’d keep it in the prep area for interviews or dialogue scenes where wardrobe is visible. The other useful detail is the master carton of 10 packs: that’s a sensible format for a sound team that wants several packs available across its regular work, rather than having to plan around one. I’d still choose the covering to suit the specific garment and setup; the title alone doesn’t tell us what each pack contains.
