Rycote Pair Of Duo-Lyre 72 (19/34) (w/ Stereo Risers)
Rycote Pair Of Duo-Lyre 72 (19/34) (w/ Stereo Risers) | Set up a stereo microphone pair
A stereo microphone arrangement starts with two mounts made to work as a pair. This Rycote set combines two Duo-Lyre 72 mounts with stereo risers, giving sound recordists mounting hardware for building a stereo setup. It suits anyone assembling a two-microphone rig for music recording or capturing the ambience of a place. The product name also identifies the 19/34 version, which is useful when matching this specific set to a mounting plan or comparing it with another Duo-Lyre option. The risers are part of the set, so you can plan around a stereo arrangement rather than sourcing those separately. This is a focused accessory, not a complete recording system: you’ll still need microphones and recording equipment to make a recording. If you’re putting together a stereo rig, this set keeps the mounting components clearly defined.
Specialist Note
Two mounts means you can build around a pair of microphones, rather than adapting a single-mic setup for stereo use. The stereo risers are the practical detail here: use them to arrange the pair for a stereo music recording or an ambience take, with both microphones held as one planned setup. I’d keep the 19/34 designation to hand when selecting this particular version, so you’re comparing the right Duo-Lyre model. It’s a good fit for someone assembling a dedicated stereo rig, but remember this is mounting hardware, not the microphones or recorder themselves.
