Sachtler SAC-9213 Cover DV 2

Sachtler SAC-9213 Cover DV 2 | Protect gear inside a larger bag

Keep gear from picking up scratches and bumps as it travels inside a larger bag. The Sachtler SAC-9213 Cover DV 2 is a protective case or pouch for that job: a straightforward way to give equipment some separation while it’s packed with other things. It suits anyone carrying gear in a larger bag who wants to reduce scuffs and knocks during everyday handling. Place the item you want to protect in the cover, then pack it into your main bag; the aim is to shield it from contact with surrounding contents, not to turn the whole bag into a hard case. This is a focused accessory for protecting gear in transit, rather than a bag for carrying a complete kit on its own. If your main concern is scratches and bumps inside a larger bag, its purpose is clear.

In your bag

Think of the Cover DV 2 as a buffer between the gear it holds and the rest of your packed belongings. It’s most relevant when equipment shares space in a larger bag, where items can shift against one another as you move. Put the protected gear into the pouch before packing the larger bag, and keep its role simple: helping guard against everyday contact, scratches and bumps. That makes it a practical addition to a carrying setup when you want protection at the item level, without adding another full-size bag to your routine.
