SanDisk CFexpress Extreme Pro 2TB (4.0 / Type B / 3.700.MB/s)

SanDisk CFexpress Extreme Pro 2TB | High-capacity Type B storage

The defining choice is CFexpress Type B, which gives this card a specific format to match with your equipment. That’s the first detail I’d check, before weighing up its capacity or the speed figure in the product title. SanDisk names it Extreme Pro and specifies CFexpress 4.0, making the key details straightforward to compare: format, type, capacity and stated speed. It suits photographers and video makers whose workflow calls for a Type B card and who want substantial storage on one card. The title gives a speed figure of 3,700 MB/s; I’d treat that as the stated figure, rather than assume it describes a particular task. In practical terms, start with the card format your equipment requires, then consider whether this capacity fits the way you prefer to organise your files.

A practical way to choose

Before choosing any card, think about how you handle files across a working day. Do you prefer to keep a large amount of material together, or split it across several cards? That’s a personal workflow decision, and it can matter as much as the headline capacity. Also consider where the card sits in your process: recording, moving files to a computer, or keeping material together between shoots. The title’s speed figure can help you compare products, but your own equipment and workflow determine what matters most in use. I’d begin by matching the format and type, then decide whether the capacity feels right for the amount of material you plan to manage at once. It’s a focused product description, but those details give you a useful basis for that decision without guessing at results for a particular setup.
