SanDisk Dual Drive Ultra 3.1 256GB USB - USB C 150MB/s

SanDisk Dual Drive Ultra 3.1 256GB USB - USB C 150MB/s | Carry files between USB and USB-C devices

You’re moving files between devices and want one small storage option to hand over, rather than relying on a network connection. The SanDisk Dual Drive Ultra 3.1 is a 256GB USB stick with USB and USB-C connections, giving you two connector types on one drive. Its stated transfer speed is up to 150MB/s, and the USB 3.1 designation is part of its name. That combination makes it suited to carrying a sizeable working collection of files or passing them between devices with matching ports. It’s also a practical fit for someone who regularly switches between USB and USB-C connections. The honest point to keep in mind: a stated speed is a useful comparison figure, but it doesn’t tell you how quickly every individual transfer will finish. File size and the devices involved matter too.

A straightforward file hand-off

For everyday use, a stick like this can keep a set of documents, photos or other files together when you need to take them with you. It can also make a hand-off simple: keep the files you’re sharing in one place, then connect the drive to a device with the matching port. If you’re using removable storage for important work, keep another copy somewhere separate. A portable drive can make files easier to carry; it shouldn’t be the only place you keep something you can’t afford to lose. That small habit matters more than trying to make every transfer part of a complicated system.
