Seissiger Cable For External 6V Additional Battery (4.0 X 1.7mm Plug)

Seissiger Cable For External 6V Additional Battery (4.0 X 1.7mm Plug) | A dedicated lead for external battery power

When you add an external battery to a setup, the cable connection is one small detail that has to match. This Seissiger cable is made for use with an external 6V additional battery and has a 4.0 x 1.7 mm plug. It suits someone who already knows their equipment needs that voltage and plug size, and wants a cable specified for that connection. The useful point is its clear, specific purpose; it isn’t described as a universal power lead. I’d pay close attention to the plug dimensions when choosing it, since a connector that looks close can still be the wrong fit. If those details match the power connection in your setup, this cable gives you the relevant link for an external battery arrangement.

Choosing the right connection

Use the voltage and plug dimensions as your guide when assessing whether this is the cable for your setup. Don’t rely on the brand name alone, or assume that two accessories will connect simply because they’re used for a similar purpose. The equipment’s required power input and connector need to match the details given here. That’s the practical check that matters; there’s no need to guess from appearance or treat the cable as a general-purpose lead. If your setup calls for a different voltage or plug format, this isn’t the right match. A little care at this stage can save the hassle of finding that a cable doesn’t suit the connection you have.
