Sirui 75mm 1.6X Carbon Fiber FullFrame Anamorphic Lens Set dl Mount (Blue Flare) | Shape cinematic widescreen footage

Your footage gets a wider, deliberately cinematic composition, with blue anamorphic flare adding a visible streak when a bright light catches the frame. The Sirui 75mm 1.6X Carbon Fiber FullFrame Anamorphic Lens Set is an interchangeable lens for filmmakers working with a full-frame sensor and aiming for a widescreen look rather than a conventional spherical image. Its 1.6x squeeze is central to that look: it captures a horizontally compressed image that’s de-squeezed in post-production or viewed through a suitable monitoring workflow. This makes it suited to narrative scenes, music videos and carefully composed interviews, where framing and light help shape the mood. The blue-flare version gives practical lights or backlights a distinct colour signature. That’s a creative choice, so it won’t suit every scene. If you want anamorphic character from a 75mm perspective, this lens is built around that specific brief.

Specialist Note

The Sirui 75mm 1.6X Carbon Fiber FullFrame Anamorphic Lens Set is at its best for controlled, widescreen story shots. At 75mm, it gives you a tighter view for a dialogue close-up or a detail shot; leave some room around the subject and use a measured camera move to keep the framing intentional. The carbon-fiber construction is a considered choice for a film rig, where the lens is one part of a larger setup. Its 32° angle of view calls for deliberate positioning rather than quick, loose coverage, so I’d plan the shot instead of treating it as a general-purpose lens. It suits filmmakers who enjoy shaping a scene around a specialist optic.
