SmallHD 17-1059 Ultra Matte Screen Protector For Smart 5 Monitors
SmallHD 17-1059 Ultra Matte Screen Protector For Smart 5 Monitors | A matte layer of screen protection
Keep the screen on a Smart 5 monitor covered while you work, with a viewing surface that has an Ultra Matte finish. The SmallHD 17-1059 Ultra Matte Screen Protector For Smart 5 Monitors is a screen protector made for Smart 5 monitors. Its matte finish is useful when you’d rather avoid a glossy-looking screen surface while checking your image on set. It also gives the display a protective layer during regular handling, packing and setup. That makes it relevant to camera crews and operators who rely on a Smart 5 monitor as part of their viewing setup, whether they’re checking a shot at the camera or monitoring from a nearby position. The product’s job is focused: cover the monitor screen, with an Ultra Matte surface. It isn’t a monitor or a way to change the image itself; it’s an accessory for the screen you already use.
Specialist Note
A screen that’s left exposed can pick up marks during the repeated handling that comes with a working setup; this protector gives your Smart 5 monitor screen a dedicated protective layer. The Ultra Matte finish is the detail to consider if a glossy surface isn’t what you want while judging a shot. For example, you can use it while monitoring at the camera, or when the monitor is positioned nearby for another crew member to view. I’d think of it as a screen-specific accessory: it’s made for Smart 5 monitors, rather than a general cover for other equipment. It protects the screen; it doesn’t add monitoring features or change what the display can show.
