Take control of your RED workflow with the lightweight SmallHD Cine 7 RED RCP2 Kit. Designed for Komodo and RED DSMC3 cameras, this 7-inch monitor combines a bright, detailed display with advanced camera control, making it a powerful on-set tool for both indoor and outdoor shooting.
The kit includes everything you need to get started: the Cine 7 monitor, an L-series battery plate, a micro-USB to 5-pin control cable, a cable adapter, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and the RED Komodo/DSMC3 RCP2 camera control software upgrade. Once loaded onto the monitor, the RED control interface lets you manage key camera functions directly from the touchscreen.
Flexible monitoring and connectivity
With support for up to UHD 4K HDMI output, the Cine 7 is built for professional monitoring across a wide range of workflows. It features a full-size HDMI input, HDMI output, a 3G-SDI input, and a selectable 3G-SDI input/output. Cross-conversion between HDMI and SDI is also supported, giving you added flexibility on set.
The bright 1800 cd/m² IPS LCD panel delivers clear visibility in challenging lighting conditions, while the 10-bit display helps maintain accurate image quality for critical viewing.
RED camera control via touchscreen
With the RCP2 software installed, the Cine 7 gives you direct access to RED camera functions through the touchscreen. Adjust run/stop, exposure, color settings, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, and menu options without needing to navigate the camera body itself.
Using the included control cable and micro-USB to LEMO adapter, the monitor can be connected directly to the camera for streamlined operation.
