Built for professional video work, the SmallRig 5111 Heavy-Duty Tripod Kit AD-80S combines speed, stability, and smooth control in one dependable setup. Its FreeSpeed one-step locking system lets you secure two leg sections quickly with a single lever, making height changes fast and efficient on set.

The carbon fiber legs help keep the kit strong yet relatively light, with a total weight of just 3.77 kg. You can work at heights from 87 cm to 190 cm, while the folded length of 91 cm keeps storage and transport manageable. A dedicated carrying bag is included for added protection and convenience.

The tripod comes with a fluid head featuring fixed damping for controlled, smooth camera movements. With the center of gravity set at 55 mm, the built-in fixed counterbalance system supports precise handling of camera setups and rigs up to 4 kg. The head itself supports loads up to 8 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of filmmaking applications.

A removable hex key is integrated into the fluid head for easy setup and disassembly of camera gear. The newly designed quick-release plate uses a click-in design for faster, more efficient mounting than traditional slide systems. It is compatible with DJI RS series plates and 501PL quick-release plates, so moving between gimbal and tripod shooting is simple.

For accessory expansion, the tripod includes 1/4"-20 threaded mounts for attaching items such as Magic Arms. A smartphone holder is also included in the package, adding extra versatility for content creation.
