SmallRig 6236 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Fujifilm X-E5 (Silver)
SmallRig 6236 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Fujifilm X-E5 (Silver) | Tripod support with a wooden handhold
SmallRig 6236 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Fujifilm X-E5 (Silver) is an L-shaped tripod accessory with a wooden handle, made for photographers using the Fujifilm X-E5. It suits X-E5 owners who want a dedicated plate-and-handle setup for tripod-based still life, product photographs or composed interior scenes. The L-shaped form is the defining part of the setup, while the wooden handle gives you a different surface to hold when positioning the camera. Its purpose is practical: pair it with the X-E5 when you want the camera supported as you work through a considered composition, then use the handle as a contact point while making small adjustments. The silver finish gives the accessory a distinct look on the camera. If you mainly shoot handheld and don’t need a tripod accessory or a wooden handle, this is a more specific piece of kit than you may need.
Specialist Note
At a sunlit desk in the late afternoon, setting up a small still life is where this plate earns its place. I’d pair it with the Fujifilm X-E5 on a tripod, then take time to settle the framing rather than keep repositioning the camera by hand. The L-shaped plate gives the setup its shaped mounting surface, while the wooden handle adds a timber touchpoint when you lift or reposition the camera. I’d recommend it to X-E5 owners who make tabletop or interior images and want this particular handle-and-plate arrangement. One limitation is the named camera fit: I wouldn’t buy it expecting a universal plate for other cameras.
