SmallRig 6273 Rotatable V-Mount Battery Plate w/ V-Locks And 15mm Dual Rod Clamp

SmallRig 6273 Rotatable V-Mount Battery Plate w/ V-Locks And 15mm Dual Rod Clamp | Position battery power on your rig

When you’re laying out a camera rig and need to decide where its battery will sit, this SmallRig plate gives you a dedicated mounting point to work with. It’s a rotatable V-Mount battery plate with V-locks and a clamp for dual 15mm rods. That combination makes it relevant for rig builds where the battery position and the rod-mounted support need to be considered together, rather than treating the plate as a loose accessory. The rotatable design gives you a way to change the plate’s orientation; the V-lock connection is the part intended for a V-Mount battery. The rod clamp is specified for two 15mm rods. SmallRig calls it model 6273. It’s a focused piece of rig hardware: most useful when those particular mounting details match the setup you’re building.

Useful when rig layout matters

A battery plate can affect how neatly a rig comes together, especially when you’re planning around the support rods. Here, the key detail is the pairing of a rotatable plate with a dual-rod clamp: it gives you a mounting arrangement to position as part of that build. The V-locks identify the battery interface, while the clamp’s 15mm sizing identifies the rod format it’s designed around. Those are the details to keep in view when planning where this part belongs in your setup. There’s no need to read more into the name than that; its appeal is straightforward. If your rig calls for a rotatable V-Mount plate attached by a 15mm dual rod clamp, the SmallRig 6273 puts those functions in one product.
