SWIT FL-C100| 100W Daylight Fanless Studio 60000LUX LED Fresnel Spot Light

SWIT FL-C100 100W Daylight Fanless Studio 60000LUX LED Fresnel Spot Light | Focused daylight for studio sets

Without a dedicated daylight spot, it’s easy to end up lighting a set with a broader source than the shot calls for. The SWIT FL-C100 is a studio LED Fresnel spotlight for filmmakers, photographers and small production teams who want a daylight source with a focused role on set. Its 100W rating and stated 60,000 lux make it a specific option to consider when planning a lighting setup, rather than a general room light. The fanless design is relevant in a recording space: there’s no cooling fan adding its own noise beside a microphone. This light is best suited to controlled studio work where you want a daylight Fresnel spot for a subject or part of a set. One practical point: the 60,000 lux figure is useful as a product rating, but it doesn’t tell the whole story of how bright a light will look in your particular setup.

Using a Fresnel spot in the studio

A Fresnel spotlight has a different job from a broad, even source. It gives you a way to place light more selectively, for example on a person, an object or a section of a set, while leaving other areas less directly lit. That can help when you want the frame to have a clear point of attention instead of lighting everything alike. The FL-C100’s daylight designation makes it a candidate for setups built around daylight-colour lighting. It’s also worth thinking about the role you need it to play: a spot is most useful when selective lighting is part of the plan, not when your only aim is to fill a whole space evenly. For a studio that needs this particular combination of a fanless design and Fresnel spot format, the FL-C100 keeps the brief straightforward.
