Tilta TK-Qruh-B Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub - Black
Tilta TK-Qruh-B Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub - Black | Keep your rig connections close at hand
Having to deal with a USB-C hub as a separate loose item can interrupt a carefully arranged tripod setup. The Tilta TK-Qruh-B Khronos combines a USB-C hub with a quick-release design in a tripod accessory, giving it a defined place in your rig. It suits filmmakers and camera operators who want the hub to be part of their tripod-based setup rather than an afterthought on the side. Its appeal is straightforward: the hub function and quick-release format are brought together in one accessory, so it’s easier to think about mounting and removing the hub as part of the setup. The black finish keeps the look understated alongside other rig equipment. This is a focused accessory, not a complete tripod or a general-purpose hub description; its value is in the combination of USB-C hub and quick release.
Designed around a quick-release setup
The product name points to its two defining roles: USB-C hub and quick release. That makes it relevant when you’re arranging a tripod rig and want the hub to be treated as an accessory that can be released, rather than as a loose component. Consider where you want the hub positioned before building out the rest of the setup, then use the quick-release function as part of your rig workflow. The product is identified as a tripod accessory, so this page keeps the focus on that use.
Specialist Note
“Can I use the Tilta TK-Qruh-B as part of a tripod rig?” Yes—that’s exactly how I’d think about this accessory. The quick-release design matters if you regularly rearrange your setup: it gives the hub a role in the rig, rather than leaving it as a separate loose item to manage. The USB-C hub part is useful when your setup calls for a hub in the first place; the quick release addresses how you handle that accessory around the tripod. I’d consider it for a fixed tripod-based workspace or a setup you break down between sessions. Keep expectations specific: it’s a tripod accessory, not a tripod itself.
