Tilta TK-QRUH2-SG Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub V2 - Space Grey
Tilta TK-QRUH2-SG Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub V2 - Space Grey | A quick-release hub for tripod setups
The combination of a quick-release design and a USB-C hub is what sets the Tilta TK-QRUH2-SG apart: it brings those two roles together in one tripod accessory. It suits photographers and filmmakers who want a hub as part of a tripod-based setup and value being able to remove that accessory quickly when changing how their gear is arranged. Use it where you want the hub to stay with the setup, then release it when you need to rework or pack away that arrangement. The product name identifies it as a Khronos accessory, and V2 marks this as the second version. Its Space Grey finish gives it a restrained look alongside other equipment. This is a focused accessory rather than a complete tripod solution; its appeal is the quick-release format paired with USB-C hub functionality.
Where it fits in your setup
Think of this as a way to make a USB-C hub part of your tripod arrangement, rather than a separate item to place wherever there’s room. For a fixed setup, keep it attached while you work. If you’re moving between tripod arrangements, the quick-release design gives you a direct way to take the hub off as you reorganise. That makes the product most relevant when quick changes to the accessory layout matter.
Specialist Note
The Tilta Khronos Quick Release USB-C Hub V2 is best at making a USB-C hub a removable part of a tripod setup. I’d consider it if you want the hub to stay with your arrangement while you work, but don’t want to leave it attached when you change the setup. The quick-release format is the practical detail here: use it to take the accessory off as you reorganise or pack away. USB-C is the other key point, so this is specifically for a workflow where a USB-C hub belongs; it isn’t a general-purpose tripod upgrade. The V2 in the name is useful when identifying this version, and the Space Grey finish keeps the look understated.
