Tilta TKL-IP17-PFC-LG Khronos Lite iPhone 17 Pro Case - Light Grey
Tilta TKL-IP17-PFC-LG Khronos Lite iPhone 17 Pro Case - Light Grey | In-bag protection for your phone
The defining choice here is a protective case rather than a standalone storage pouch: Tilta makes the Khronos Lite to help keep an iPhone 17 Pro clear of scratches and bumps when it rides inside a larger bag. That’s the job it’s best suited to—adding a layer between the phone and the movement of camera gear or other belongings, rather than taking the place of a dedicated carry bag. It makes sense for photographers and filmmakers who keep their phone in the same bag as their kit and want it protected without carrying a separate phone pouch. The light grey finish gives this version a pale, understated look. If your phone regularly shares space with equipment, this is a straightforward way to give it some in-bag protection.
Specialist Note
Putting your iPhone 17 Pro away in a larger gear bag feels less precarious when it has its own protective case. I’d use it for the phone you carry alongside your camera kit: place the cased phone in the bag with your other essentials instead of leaving it loose among them. The case is intended to guard against scratches and bumps, which is useful for the knocks and rubbing that can happen while you’re moving between locations. Its light grey colour also gives it a clear, distinct look among darker kit. I’d treat it as in-bag protection, not a reason to be careless with the phone.
