TnB Fire-Wire 6-6 1m FIRE6M6

TnB Fire-Wire 6-6 1m FIRE6M6 | A short FireWire cable for nearby connections

When two pieces of equipment with matching FireWire connections are close together, a long cable can leave extra slack on the desk. The TnB Fire-Wire 6-6 is a 1m cable for that shorter run. The “6-6” designation identifies a 6-pin connector at each end, so it’s suited to connecting equipment with matching 6-pin FireWire sockets. Its straightforward appeal is the combination of those two connector ends and a one-metre length. You can identify the cable type and length from the name, without having to guess from a broad product description. For a setup where the connected devices sit near one another, that compact reach is the point. It’s a specific cable, rather than a general-purpose lead: the connection at both ends is FireWire 6-pin.

Think of it for a replacement cable or for adding a direct link between two nearby items that use those sockets. One metre gives you some room to position the devices, while keeping the run relatively short. That can make sense on a compact work surface or within a close-set setup; it won’t be the right length if the equipment needs to sit far apart. The honest limitation is right in the name: this is a 6-6 cable, so its usefulness depends on having a 6-pin FireWire connection at each end. If that describes your setup, the TnB model name and FIRE6M6 identifier make it easy to distinguish this cable from other leads.
