The Tokina Vista Cinema 29mm T1.5 is a wide-angle cinema prime for Canon EF setups, giving filmmakers a moderately wide view without pushing to an ultra-wide perspective. Its T1.5 maximum aperture gives you room to work when available light is limited, and can help separate a subject from the background when focus is placed carefully. This interchangeable lens is made for video and filmmaking, and suits crews and independent makers who want deliberate focus rather than autofocus convenience. Use it for dialogue coverage, environmental portraits or moving through a room where the setting should remain part of the shot. Specialist Note

For a two-person conversation in a compact room, I’d start at 29mm to keep some of the setting in frame without going ultra-wide.
