Ulanzi MT92 Selfiestick Tripod 60cm w/ GoPro-Mount
Ulanzi MT92 Selfiestick Tripod 60cm w/ GoPro-Mount | Compact support for tight spaces
The Ulanzi MT92 is a short monopod with a GoPro mount, offering a compact alternative when a full tripod would take up too much room. It suits GoPro-mounted camera users who want a support they can keep close, especially at crowded events. A monopod can also help sports and wildlife photographers working with long lenses: it gives the camera a point of support while leaving less space around you than tripod legs do. At 60cm, the MT92 is a short support rather than a tall stand, so think about the framing and working height you need before choosing it. Its appeal is simplicity of purpose: a small monopod format for situations where space matters, with a GoPro mount for the intended camera setup. If you need a camera to stand unattended, this isn't a substitute for a full tripod.
Specialist Note
A common slip with monopods is expecting one to stand on its own like a tripod; this one is best treated as support you guide and hold in place. The 60cm length gives you a short reach, which is handy when you want to bring a GoPro-mounted camera a little farther from your body without carrying a tall support. Its GoPro mount also makes the intended setup clear, rather than leaving you to guess how to attach your camera. I’d consider it for event footage where tripod legs would get in the way, or compact sports and wildlife setups. Just bear in mind that its short length won’t give you the height of a full-size stand.
