Verbatim VX500 SSD 120 GB Portable USB 3.1 Gen 2 (USB-C Connection) Spacegrijs

Verbatim VX500 SSD 120 GB Portable USB 3.1 Gen 2 (USB-C Connection) Space Grey | Portable storage for selected files

The Verbatim VX500 SSD 120 GB is a portable external SSD with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C connection. It’s for someone who wants a separate place to keep a selected set of files and carry it between locations. The 120 GB capacity gives it a defined role: documents, a batch of photos, or other files you want together, rather than an ever-growing archive. Its space-grey finish keeps the look understated. One honest point: that capacity asks you to choose what earns a place on the drive. If you already know which files you want close at hand, that can make it easy to plan; if your collection is likely to keep growing, think about how much room you’ll need. It’s a straightforward storage option, best considered around the files you actually plan to take with you.

Choosing what to carry

A practical way to use a drive like this is to decide its job before you start copying files. It could hold the documents for a particular project, a hand-picked group of images, or a selection you want available away from your usual workspace. Keeping the purpose specific makes it easier to decide what belongs and what can stay elsewhere. You might also use it alongside another storage option, keeping only the files you need for a particular task on this drive. The useful question is simple: does the amount you want to carry fit within the available space? That’s a better starting point than assuming any portable drive will suit every collection. For a focused set of files, the VX500 gives you a clear capacity and a defined connection to consider when choosing.
