Wooden Camera A00028 Micro Battery Plate Adapter V-Mount To Gold Mount V-Raptor
Wooden Camera A00028 Micro Battery Plate Adapter V-Mount To Gold Mount V-Raptor | Bridge two battery formats
Without an adapter, a V-Mount battery and a Gold Mount plate use different mounting formats. The Wooden Camera A00028 Micro Battery Plate Adapter provides a way to bridge them in a V-Raptor setup. It’s intended for crews who need to bring a V-Mount battery into a Gold Mount battery-plate arrangement, rather than replace the whole setup to match one format. The useful point is its specific role: this is an adapter for a Micro Battery Plate, not a general-purpose charger or an all-in-one power solution. If you’re organising a camera build around the named V-Raptor system, it can help make battery-format planning more straightforward. Keep in mind that the title identifies the formats and camera system, but doesn’t describe additional connections or power features, so I’d treat it as a focused mounting adapter.
That focused job makes this part relevant when your battery inventory and camera-side plate arrangement don’t use the same mount. It gives you a clear conversion direction to plan around: V-Mount on one side, Gold Mount on the other. The V-Raptor reference also makes the intended setup easy to identify when you’re sorting parts for a build. It’s a small, specific link in a larger power setup, so it’s best chosen for that exact format change rather than as a general accessory for unrelated rigs.
Specialist Note
“Can I use a V-Mount battery in a Gold Mount V-Raptor setup?” That’s the job this A00028 adapter is named for: it bridges those two formats at the Micro Battery Plate. I’d consider it when your battery stock is V-Mount but the plate arrangement for your V-Raptor is Gold Mount, so you can plan around the gear you already have. The V-Raptor reference is useful when separating this part from adapters meant for other builds; A00028 gives you a specific model number to use in a kit list or when asking for the part. It’s a focused adapter, not a charger or a broader power-management unit.
