Wooden Camera A00306 Baseplate System Sony Rialto Rialto 2
Wooden Camera A00306 Baseplate System Sony Rialto Rialto 2 | A tripod accessory for named Rialto systems
Its defining point is right in the name: the Wooden Camera A00306 is a baseplate system for Sony Rialto and Rialto 2, rather than a general tripod accessory. It suits camera crews building a tripod-based setup around either of those systems, especially when the shot calls for a settled, repeatable camera position. Think of a locked-off interview or a product shot: the baseplate system is the part of the setup to consider when arranging the camera for tripod use. The product is classed as a tripod accessory, so it isn’t a tripod in its own right. Its appeal is its specific connection to the two named Rialto systems; this page doesn’t claim extra fittings or adjustments beyond that. If your work centres on a Sony Rialto or Rialto 2 and you’re planning a tripod setup, this is the relevant Wooden Camera accessory to explore.
Specialist Note
The “2” in Rialto 2 matters in practice: the product name covers both Sony Rialto and Rialto 2, so it’s aimed at those particular systems. As a baseplate system and a tripod accessory, it belongs in a tripod-based camera setup, not as a replacement for the tripod itself. I’d consider it for a fixed interview frame or a product shot where you want to build the camera arrangement around a steady tripod position. It’s a specialist part, and that’s also its limit: the named Rialto fit is the point, so I wouldn’t treat it as a general baseplate for other camera systems.
