Wooden Camera Air EVF Mount (19mm Tube Clamp Under 15mm LW Rods)
Wooden Camera Air EVF Mount (19mm Tube Clamp Under 15mm LW Rods) | Position an EVF beneath LW rods
Get an EVF mounting point beneath 15mm LW rods, using a mount specified for a 19mm tube clamp. The Wooden Camera Air EVF Mount is a tripod accessory for camera setups where those two parts of the mounting arrangement need to work together. It’s aimed at filmmakers building a rig around an EVF and looking for a dedicated way to place its mount in that configuration. The useful detail is the distinction between the 19mm tube clamp and the 15mm LW rods beneath which the mount sits; they refer to different parts of the arrangement, not interchangeable sizes. That makes this a focused piece of rig hardware rather than a general-purpose tripod accessory. If your setup uses this stated configuration, it gives you a specific starting point for positioning an EVF. The product name keeps the intended arrangement clear, which is helpful when planning how an EVF mount will fit into a rig.
Specialist Note
A common first-time mix-up is treating the 19mm clamp and the 15mm LW rods as one matching interface. Here, the 19mm figure describes the tube clamp, while the mount is intended to sit under 15mm LW rods; keeping those roles clear helps you plan the rig correctly. As an EVF mount, it’s suited to a camera build where the viewfinder needs its own mounting point beneath that rod arrangement. I’d consider it for a compact working rig or a tripod-based camera setup, then place the mount under the LW rods where the EVF needs to sit. Its purpose is specific, so it makes most sense when your setup matches those stated dimensions.
