The MagMod XL Starter Flash Kit is an essential collection, featuring three unique modifiers from the renowned MagMod XL system. This kit includes the versatile and incredibly portable Reflector XL, the MagSphere XL, and the innovative MagGrid XL 40. Moreover, this kit is specially designed to optimize studio flash and comes with all necessary auxiliary elements to improve the quality of light shaping results.
The exceptional MagMod Reflector XL stands as the first ever foldable reflector with an extremely durable design, infused with MagMod's patented magnetic modular light modification pattern. Managing, spreading, and setting the perfect color balance through lighting has never been this simple. The foldable design surpasses the durability of traditional metal-structure reflectors while being more compact, and simultaneously providing two distinct beam angles.
Further complementing the kit is the MagMod MagSphere XL, an enhanced diffusion fabric that acts as a budget-friendly alternative to small softboxes for larger flashes. It quickly transforms any flash into a soft, omnidirectional bare-bulb light source - a perfect companion for off-camera flash environments as well as in-studio usages. Delivering lantern-like light, soft, beautifully diffused and incredibly durable - the MagSphere XL enhances the perceived size of your light.
To complete the set, the MagMod MagGrid XL 40, a honeycomb grid, restricts the spread of your flash to a focused 40° field. The XL variant uses the same premium magnetic modular silicone rubber design as the brand's original MagGrid 2 but updated for larger flashes.
