Yongnuo YN60 RGB II LED Lamp - WB (2500 K - 9900 K) Black

Yongnuo YN60 RGB II LED Lamp - WB (2500 K - 9900 K) Black | Shape colour and white balance in continuous light

Give a portrait, product shot or video frame a coloured accent or a different white-light tone, and see the effect as you work. The Yongnuo YN60 RGB II is a continuous LED lamp for photographers and video makers who want to work with colour as part of the lighting, rather than adding it later. Its white-balance range runs from 2500 K to 9900 K, so you can move between warmer and cooler white light. That makes it useful when the mood of a scene matters, or when the light needs to sit more comfortably alongside other sources. RGB gives you the option to bring coloured light into the frame, too. The black finish keeps the look understated. It’s a straightforward idea: adjust the light’s colour, watch what happens on your subject, and make a decision before you shoot.

Working with colour

Colour can be the main point of a setup or just a small detail. For a portrait, you might use a coloured accent to change the feel of the background; for a product image, you could try a tint that supports the item’s own colours. White light is useful in a different way: warmer or cooler tones can shift the atmosphere without introducing a strong colour. Since this is continuous lighting, you can judge the effect while composing and recording, rather than relying on a flash of light that only appears at the moment of exposure. The best result depends on the subject and the rest of the scene, so it’s worth making small adjustments and looking carefully at the image. This lamp is a good fit when you want that hands-on control over light colour in a compact lighting setup; no elaborate effects are needed to make a visible difference.
