Zhiyun Multifunctional gimbal bag
Zhiyun Multifunctional gimbal bag | A dedicated bag for gimbal carry
The defining decision is the bag format: Zhiyun names this as a multifunctional gimbal bag, making it a carrying accessory rather than a support component. That distinction is useful when you’re sorting out what belongs with your tripod and gimbal setup. This product is listed as a tripod accessory, so it makes sense for people who want a bag specifically identified for gimbal use. Its clearest role is straightforward: give your gimbal a designated place when you’re moving between a filming area and storage. It’s suited to gimbal users who prefer to keep that part of their kit together instead of treating it as loose equipment. The name also points to more than a single-use description, though the exact functions aren’t defined here. Think of it as a dedicated gimbal bag within your wider camera-support kit.
Specialist Note
At the studio door after a filming session, this is the sort of accessory that gives a gimbal a clear place in the kit. I’d consider it if you want one bag identified for gimbal use, rather than an unlabelled general-purpose carry option. The product is classed as a tripod accessory, so it belongs alongside the support gear in your packing routine; that’s a helpful distinction when you’re gathering equipment before heading out. Use it to keep the gimbal’s place in your setup consistent between the filming area and storage. The honest limitation is that the name alone doesn’t tell us what else the bag can do, so I’d choose it for its stated gimbal-bag role.
