The Praktica L is a robust, fully mechanical 35mm SLR camera made in the former East Germany by VEB Pentacon Dresden. Introduced in the early 1970s, the L-series was known for its clean design, durability, and use of the universal M42 screw mount, which allows compatibility with a wide range of vintage lenses.
Paired with the Pentacon 50mm f/1.8, this kit delivers beautiful bokeh, sharp results, and reliable performance. The lens has a bright maximum aperture of f/1.8, making it well-suited for portraits, low-light shooting, and general photography.

Camera body (SN: 085795) and lens are in good working order. Shutter fires correctly at all speeds. Lens glass is clean — no haze or fungus. Focus and aperture rings move smoothly. Aperture blades are dry and responsive. Normal cosmetic wear from age but no major damage.
