PGYTECH Camera Wrist Strap Air (Earth Brown) - 25 g wrist strap
Dyneema forms the inner cord, chosen for its high tensile strength while keeping the strap light. The PGYTECH Camera Wrist Strap Air (Earth Brown) weighs 25 g, so it adds little bulk when you carry a camera on your wrist. Its slim quick connector is made for one-handed operation and works with PGYTECH shoulder straps and backpack camera straps, making it handy when you switch between carrying styles. Use it to keep a camera close while walking around town, at an event or during a photo outing where you’re frequently raising and lowering the camera. The textured, breathable wrist section is made from microfibre, while the adjustment mechanism is anodised aluminium. A hidden magnetic closure lets the strap convert into a bracelet between shooting sessions. The brown colour gives this version a warm, understated look.
What it does
- Dyneema inner cord: At the same mass, Dyneema has 15 times the tensile strength of steel. That strong core is the part connecting the wrist loop to your camera.
- Quick connector: Its slim profile supports one-handed attachment and removal. The soft-touch connector helps guard against bumps and scratches.
- Textured microfibre wrist section: The breathable surface and textured inner face are made to sit comfortably around your wrist while you carry your camera.
- Anodised aluminium adjuster: Adjust the fit with one hand, rather than needing to handle a separate buckle or tool.
- Hidden magnetic closure: Close the strap around your wrist as a bracelet when you detach it from the camera.
- Replaceable cord and rotating bead: The three-layer construction allows the cord to be replaced, and the Quick Bead turns through 360 degrees as the camera moves.
Specialist Note
Street and travel photographers who keep their camera ready between short stops will appreciate how little this strap adds to a carry setup. At 25 g, it stays light on the wrist, while the Dyneema core provides a strong connection to the camera. For a walk around town, keep the strap attached as you raise and lower the camera for quick frames; when you take a break, detach it and use the hidden magnetic closure to wear it as a bracelet. It also pairs neatly with PGYTECH shoulder or backpack camera straps. The 1.5 mm bead fits most cameras, though that wording doesn’t mean every camera attachment point is covered.
Good to know
The wrist loop adjusts for a wrist circumference of 12–20 cm. The strap measures 230 x 20 mm, useful if you’re checking how much space it will take in a small camera bag or pocket. Its Quick Bead 2.0 has a 1.5 mm diameter and is specified for use with most cameras. The brown Earth Brown finish is the colour of this version.
