Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5 - Leica M-Mount + Lens Hood - Black | Broad views, deliberate framing

Wide scenes feel more complete in the frame: the Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5 gives Leica M photographers a broad view for landscapes and architecture. As a 21mm wide-angle prime, it lets you include more of a building, street frontage or open landscape without stepping back as far. That can be especially helpful where space is tight or you want the surroundings to play a clear part in the picture. Manual focus suits photographers who prefer to set focus themselves and take care over composition. The maximum aperture of f/3.5 is a sensible fit for daylight landscapes and exterior architecture; it also gives you some room to work when the light starts to drop. This lens will appeal to Leica M users who want a dedicated wide-angle view and are comfortable focusing by hand.

Specialist Note

The Thypoch Ksana 21mm f/3.5 is at its best when you want a whole building frontage or a broad sweep of landscape in one frame. For architecture, take a moment to level the camera and focus carefully on the detail you want crisp; the wide view makes the position of the frame edges important. For landscape, manual focus lets you place attention on a chosen part of the scene rather than relying on autofocus. At f/3.5, you have some flexibility as daylight fades, but this isn’t a particularly bright lens for dim interiors. I’d recommend it to Leica M photographers who enjoy careful framing and don’t mind focusing for themselves.
