Godox AD33 K3 Electric Adjustable Diffusion Panel w/ Carry Bag
Godox AD33 K3 Electric Adjustable Diffusion Panel w/ Carry Bag | Shape continuous light with electric adjustment
A continuous light can look too hard on a face or leave sharp reflections on a product. The Godox AD33 K3 is an electrically adjustable diffusion panel for continuous-light work, giving you a way to shape the light without relying on a panel that can only be repositioned by hand. It suits photographers and video creators who want to refine the look of an existing light source, whether they’re setting up a portrait or filming a product. Place the panel in the light path when you want a softer look, then adjust it to suit the scene. The product name includes a carry bag, handy when you need to move or store the panel between sessions. It’s a focused accessory rather than a light source, so it makes sense as part of a continuous-light setup you already use.
Specialist Note
The fiddly part of shaping continuous light is having to stop and reposition things by hand; the AD33 K3’s electric adjustment is intended to make that change easier. I’d look at it for a talking-head portrait: place the diffusion panel between your continuous light and the subject, then adjust the panel to get the softness you want. For a product video, the same approach can help tame crisp reflections on a surface. The carry bag is a practical extra if the panel moves between a studio space and another location. Just remember, it shapes light rather than producing it, so you’ll need a continuous light source to use it.
