The Yashica MG-1 is a 35mm rangefinder camera introduced in the early 1970s, designed for ease of use with a focus on automatic exposure. It features aperture-priority auto exposure and a bright viewfinder with parallax-corrected frame lines. The camera uses a built-in CdS light meter, and a red/amber warning light in the viewfinder helps guide exposure.
The built-in Yashinon 45mm f/2.8 lens offers sharp results with classic rendering and smooth bokeh, making it ideal for casual shooting, travel, and street photography. This fully mechanical rangefinder also works without batteries — only the meter requires power.
