Hama LED-Gloeidraadlamp E14 470LM Verv 40W Kaars C35 Mat WW Dimmable RA90

Hama LED Filament Bulb E14 470 lm | Warm, dimmable candle-style light

The Hama LED Filament Bulb gives you 470 lumens in a candle-shaped C35 design. It’s for anyone replacing a candle bulb in a fitting that takes an E14 lamp and wanting warm white light with dimming. The bulb is matte, so its finish is less reflective than a clear one; the filament-style design keeps the classic bulb look. Hama rates its light output as a replacement for a 40W bulb, which is a helpful point of comparison when choosing brightness. Its RA90 colour rendering is useful in rooms where the appearance of colours matters. One practical detail: the 40W figure is a replacement rating, not the bulb’s stated power consumption. If you’re choosing by appearance as well as light, the candle shape and matte finish are the details to consider.

A considered replacement for candle fittings

This bulb makes most sense when the shape of the lamp is part of what you see in the fitting, rather than hidden behind a shade. Its candle form gives you a familiar outline, while the warm white colour keeps the light on the cosy side. Dimming lets you adjust the light level instead of relying on a single brightness, which can be handy as the room’s use changes. The 470-lumen output gives you a concrete brightness figure to compare with the lamp you’re replacing. If colour appearance is important in the room, RA90 is another useful point of reference. It’s a straightforward combination of a traditional candle profile and LED filament styling, with the key choice being whether this shape and light output suit your fitting.
