EIKON Wireless Microphone IS A Uhf Fixed Frequency System WM101 Mic 863-865 MHz
EIKON WM101 UHF Wireless Microphone | Freedom to speak without a cable
At a presentation, class or announcement, a speaker may need to move rather than stay beside a stand or pass a wired microphone around. The EIKON WM101 is a wireless microphone system for those spoken-voice situations, giving the speaker room to move while addressing an audience. Its product name identifies it as a fixed-frequency UHF system in the 863–865 MHz band. That makes the frequency information useful when planning a setup with other wireless equipment: you can check the stated band against the requirements of the venue or production. The WM101 is aimed at straightforward speaking tasks, such as a presenter leading a session or someone making announcements. It’s a focused option when you want a wireless microphone system, rather than a microphone that depends on a cable running with the speaker. The fixed-frequency design also makes it sensible to plan the system around a defined role in your setup.
Specialist Note
The WM101 earns its place when a speaker needs to move without dragging a microphone lead. Its UHF format identifies the kind of radio system you’re choosing; it doesn’t, by itself, tell you how far it will work in a particular room. The fixed-frequency design is the point to keep in mind when planning: treat it as a system for a defined speaking job, not one you can retune to dodge a busy channel. For a talk or a run of announcements, assign it to the person speaking and let them move as they address the room. I’d plan its use around that single role, especially if other wireless systems are part of the event.
