Godox Cube C KIT2 2.4GHz Wireless Microphone System
Godox Cube C KIT2 2.4GHz Wireless Microphone System | Cable-free audio for spoken content
Its defining feature is right in the name: the Godox Cube C KIT2 is a wireless microphone system operating at 2.4GHz. That makes it relevant when a cable between the microphone and your recording position would get in the way. It suits video makers, interviewers and presenters who want to record spoken audio without being tethered by a microphone lead. The system is best considered for speech-led projects, such as an interview or a presentation, where keeping the microphone near the person speaking matters more than recording a wide range of sounds. The title tells us the radio frequency and that this is a wireless microphone system; it doesn’t give a transmission range or device compatibility, so I’d avoid assuming either. If your work involves moving around while speaking, the wireless approach is the practical point to weigh up.
Where it fits
For a seated interview, position the microphone near the speaker and keep the recording setup where it’s convenient, rather than routing a microphone cable across the space. For a presentation, that same freedom can help keep the area around the speaker clear. It’s a straightforward use case: focus on clear speech and a tidy recording position, without treating the system as a complete recording setup in itself.
Specialist Note
2.4GHz means this system sends microphone audio over a wireless link in that radio band, so in practice you’re not tied to the recording position by a microphone cable. I’d consider it for interviews or short presentations where the speaker needs room to move; place the microphone close to the person talking and keep the recording setup out of their way. Because it’s a microphone system rather than a recorder, you’ll still need a suitable way to capture the audio. It’s a focused option for speech-led work, not a promise of a particular range or device fit.
