Wooden Camera Nato Lock (Clamp Only)

Wooden Camera Nato Lock (Clamp Only) | A focused locking part for rig builds

Rigging can get frustrating when you need a specific locking part, not another complete accessory. The Wooden Camera Nato Lock (Clamp Only) is a tripod accessory for that kind of build: a clamp-only component identified as a NATO lock. It suits camera makers and operators who are assembling or adjusting a rig and need to source this part on its own. The useful distinction is right in the name: you’re choosing the clamp, rather than a larger kit. That makes it easier to plan around the parts you already have, without assuming extra components are included. Its role is specific, so it’s best suited to a setup where a NATO locking component is what you need. If you’re still deciding how to build the rest of a rig, this product won’t answer that broader question; it’s the targeted part to consider once you know the role you need it to fill.

Where it fits in a rig build

Think of this as a component to select when you’re piecing together a setup and want the clamp itself, rather than a broader accessory package. The product name identifies its NATO-lock role, while “Clamp Only” helps set expectations about its scope. That can make it a sensible part to investigate for a planned rig adjustment, but the title alone doesn’t tell you which other pieces your particular build needs. Keep the decision focused on whether a clamp-only NATO lock is the part you’re sourcing.
