SmallRig 5524 Sling Handle for DJI RS 2, RS 3/4 Pro and Mini RSC 2 Bumblebee ED | Extra support for handheld video

Handheld video is easier to support when your setup includes a dedicated sling handle. The SmallRig 5524 is a shoulder rig for handheld video work where the camera needs extra support. It’s intended for use with the DJI RS 2, RS 3/4 Pro and Mini RSC 2 systems, making it relevant if one of those is already part of your filming setup. Think of it as a way to give your hands and arms extra support during a take, rather than as a camera or a promise of perfectly steady footage. That makes it useful for planned handheld sequences, from a short interview to a moving shot that follows a subject. If you want a support rig specifically for handheld work with one of the named DJI systems, this SmallRig handle is a focused option.

Specialist Note

The SmallRig 5524 Sling Handle is best at adding support to handheld video work. Its shoulder-rig design makes sense when you’re recording a longer take and want support beyond simply holding the camera setup in your hands. It’s made for the DJI RS 2, RS 3/4 Pro and Mini RSC 2, so it suits someone already working with one of those systems. For an interview, keep the rig in use through the take; for a moving shot, use it as you follow your subject. One honest point: this is a support rig, not a guarantee of steady footage. Your movement still matters, so it pairs best with deliberate camera handling.
