Caruba EgoPod Selfiestick 54cm 160GR
Caruba EgoPod Selfiestick 54cm 160GR | Get more in the frame
Trying to fit everyone into a group photo can mean asking a stranger to take it, or leaving someone out. The Caruba EgoPod Selfiestick gives you a way to frame the shot yourself, and it’s suited to travel selfies, group pictures and action-camera footage. It’s a straightforward option for people who want to include themselves in the moment without turning photo-taking into a production. On a trip, it can help bring a landmark and the people with you into the same picture; at a gathering, you can position the group and take the photo yourself. It’s also useful when you want a little distance from an action camera for a different viewpoint. The appeal here is simplicity: a dedicated selfie stick for everyday situations where holding the camera at arm’s length doesn’t give you the framing you want.
Specialist Note
At a busy family lunch, I’d use the EgoPod’s 54 cm length to bring more of the table and the people around it into one frame. Its 160 g weight makes it easy to carry along on a day out, rather than something you’ll think twice about packing. For a group shot, hold it a little above eye level and angle down so faces stay in view; for travel selfies, include some of the setting behind you. It suits people who want to take their own pictures or add a little distance for action-camera footage. One limitation: 54 cm gives you extra reach, but it won’t place the camera far away.
