Joby TP07 Telepod Magnetic Selfie Stick Tripod
Joby TP07 Telepod Magnetic Selfie Stick Tripod | Frame travel selfies with ease
Without a selfie stick, getting yourself and the scenery into a travel photo often means asking a stranger to take it or squeezing everyone close to the camera. The Joby TP07 Telepod is a magnetic selfie stick tripod for travellers who want more control over their framing, and for anyone making group photos or action-camera footage. It’s especially suited to moments when you’d rather be in the picture than behind it, or when you want to capture a scene without holding the camera yourself. The two-part name points to its appeal: you can use it as a selfie stick or as a tripod. That makes it a handy option for changing how you frame a shot as the situation changes. It’s a focused tool for casual photos and footage, rather than a full-size support for heavier camera setups.
Two ways to frame a shot
On a day out, a selfie stick can help include more of the surroundings in a self-portrait. For a group photo, the tripod format gives you another way to arrange the shot without making one person hold the camera. And if you’re filming action-camera footage, the choice of stick or tripod format can suit the kind of view you want to capture. Think of the TP07 as a compact framing aid for informal moments, rather than a substitute for a larger support when you need one.
Specialist Note
For a group photo of five at a café stop, I’d use the TP07’s tripod format so nobody has to leave the picture to take it. I also like that the name specifies a magnetic design: that’s useful to bear in mind when choosing the gear you’ll connect it with, but I wouldn’t treat “magnetic” as a promise of universal compatibility. As a selfie stick, it suits travellers who want to include more of the scene in their own photos; for action-camera footage, the tripod option gives you a different way to frame the moment. It’s a simple, purpose-led accessory, not a heavy-duty camera support.
