Tilta MB-T12-87 87mm Lens Attachments For MB-T12 Clamp-On Matte Box
Tilta MB-T12-87 87mm Lens Attachments For MB-T12 Clamp-On Matte Box | Support for handheld video work
Tilta MB-T12-87 87mm Lens Attachments For MB-T12 Clamp-On Matte Box is identified as an 87mm attachment for the MB-T12 clamp-on matte box. It’s intended for shoulder-rig use, where the camera needs extra support during handheld video work. That makes it relevant to video makers who need to keep the camera supported while recording interviews, events or other handheld footage. The 87mm designation and the named matte box give you a specific reference for placing it in your setup, rather than treating it as a general rig accessory. Its purpose here is practical: supporting the camera for handheld work, alongside the matte box named in the product title. If that matches the way you shoot, this is a focused component to consider for your rig.
Where it fits in your setup
Think of this as a part for a setup built around the MB-T12 clamp-on matte box, with an 87mm designation to identify the attachment. Its stated use is handheld video with added camera support. For interview coverage, that points to a shoulder-rig workflow; for event footage, it’s relevant when you need to keep working handheld rather than setting the camera on a tripod.
Specialist Note
A presenter is speaking on a small set, and the camera needs support through a handheld take. That’s the kind of job this shoulder-rig product is meant to serve. The 87mm marking gives you a clear identifier for the attachment, while the product name ties it to the MB-T12 clamp-on matte box; I’d keep those details together when planning your setup. For interviews or event coverage, use it as part of a handheld rig when the camera needs extra support. One honest point: its role is specific, so it makes most sense when your setup is built around the named MB-T12 matte box.
