Shimoda Core Unit - Soft - Large - Boa (520-482)

Shimoda Core Unit Soft Large Boa (520-482) | Padded protection for a camera ready to shoot

At an event or on an action-sports day, a camera with its lens already attached is the kit you want close at hand. The Shimoda Core Unit Soft Large Boa is a padded holster-style top-loader for carrying that compact setup in an enclosed, zippered unit. Its adjustable dividers secure your gear, while padding around the walls, base and lid protects it in a larger bag or when used on its own. The soft, brushed lining is gentle on camera surfaces, and two clear TPU pockets keep small essentials such as batteries or a lens cloth visible rather than buried. It’s a considered fit for vloggers and action-sports users who need a camera ready to shoot, with room to organise a few supporting items. Use it to keep a camera and attached lens together between locations, or to separate a compact camera kit from other contents in a backpack.

How it carries

• All-round padding: Padding covers the four sides, base and zipped lid. That enclosed protection is useful both inside a larger backpack and when the Core Unit is carried separately.
• Adjustable dividers: Move the dividers to secure the shape of your camera setup. A snug layout keeps equipment organised rather than loose inside the unit.
• Two clear TPU pockets: The transparent pockets hold small items such as batteries and a lens cloth. Their contents stay easy to spot when you open the bag.
• YKK zip: The dependable zip closes the padded unit fully, including its protective lid. That matters when the Core Unit shifts around inside a larger bag.
• Soft brushed lining: The interior surface is made to resist scratching camera equipment. It adds a gentler contact layer around the kit you carry.
